Our Program Curriculum
Our preschool is for 2 thru 5 year old children. We offer a nurturing and
loving environment for your child. Our goal is to provide opportunities for
your child to develop their social, emotional language; cognitive and fine and
gross motor skills in a developmentally appropriate environment.
Children in our preschool program not only learn how to work in large groups,
they also enjoy the benefit of our small child/teacher ratio of 1 teacher to 6
children which enables them to get a great deal of one on one attention. Our
small intimate classroom settings greatly facilitate learning in a fun and
stimulating environment.
Our curriculum covers the following areas of concentrations.
LANGUAGE ARTS: pre-reading skills, vocabulary building, letter recognition
(upper/lower case), letter sounds, writing, and literature read aloud by
teacher.
MATH: shapes, colors, sequencing, patterning, matching, counting, number
recognition, beginning addition/subtraction concepts and graphing.
MUSIC: Singing movement, dance, musical instruments.

DEVELOPING SOCIAL SKILLS: Student have the opportunity to interact with many
other children their age as well as adults.
SPANISH LANGUAGE: Spanish words that many people living in America speak
English and Spanish. Incorporating greetings, numbers and colors in Spanish.
GROSS MOTOR SKILLS: gross motor skills development involves hand, eye and foot
coordination. The children will practice their coordination and large motor
skills through a variety of ways including outdoor and indoor play.
VISUAL SKILLS: matching, rhyming, letter skills, direction, motor skills,
concepts of printing and language skills.
AUDITORY SKILLS: skills that help children acquire the ability to listen and
pay attention to the task and hand, children relating their experiences,
discriminating words and following directions, developing memory skills,
discriminating sounds - to hear sounds that are alike and different.
FINE MOTOR SKILLS: fine motor skills include the development of small muscles.
Children practice cutting, tracing and coloring.

COMPUTER CENTER: Children experience computer learning with a variety of
preschool software.
GARDENING: children learn how to plant, maintain and harvest vegetables and
more, encourage the children to incorporate these healthy veggies into their
meals at preschool.

FITNESS PROGRAM: Offers fun-filled fitness classes for our preschoolers
incorporating music together with the use of props, dance, improvisation and
education.
